Microscope is an essential learning instrument for students in such subjects as Physics and Biology; however, because its cost is quite expensive, many schools cannot satisfy their learning need of the students. On the other hand, in each observation of the specimens, the students can only observe the relatively small sample of the specimens that cannot give direct view of the whole thing. Besides, because only one student can use one microscope per view, while there are many students in a class with short limited period of study, not all students can observe things through the microscope.

As such, we made low-cost microscopes that are computer-compatible or portable with 108x magnification so that every attending student can use a microscope at the same time to observe the studying specimens; the product is made from common materials including converging lens with small 2.5cm-focus (taken from old cameras); Computer webcam, laptop keyboard backlight; plastic pipes with diameter of 32mm; plates, nails, screws; 2 wooden pieces
