In the afternoon of March 7th, 2016, Thua Thien Hue Union of Science and Technology Associations (HUSTA) held the Co-organised Conference preparing for organising the Science and Technology Forum on the occasion of Vietnam Science and Technolody Day 18-5 (the Forum). Hosts of the Conference were Asso.Prof. PhD. Nguyen Van Toan – Director of Hue University; Mr. Tran Quoc Thang – Vice Director of Thua Thien Hue Department of Science and Technology; Prof. MD. PhD. Tran Huu Dang – President of HUSTA together with the participation of representatives of the member Colleges, departments of Hue University; Hue Academy of Music, Thua Thien Hue Union of Literature and Arts Associations and association members of HUSTA.
The Conference
In the Conference, representatives have heard the presentation of Prof. MD. PhD. Tran Huu Dang about the draft plan on co-organising the Forum and many opinions on helding the Forum.

The Conference defines that the Forum will be an effective and practical activity to commenmorate Vietnam Science and Technology Day 18-05 and also a chance to advertise widely science and technology achivements contributing to the socio – economic development of Thua Thien Hue province.
It is also the spirit of Thua Thien Hue provincial People’s Committee direction on organising the Forum in the Dispatch No. 3291/UBND-DL dated on 1st July, 2015.
